Top Gear Club (aka CyclistCarCoexist pet project) is hosting a “adventure drive”. If you can come to the Bay Area, we will be exploring Roads. Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions from Oppo?
But I have a system of “no car left behind” honk procedure and if they drive erratically, they will be asked to leave.

I suggest, if you really want adventure, to venture off the road.

But what about those super cool hellaflush stancelyfe cars they won’t be able to join in
Come to think of it that’s perfect they will realise the stupid mistakes they’ve made if they try following

As far as I’m concerned, there are no hellaflush stancelyfe cars at my school. If this gets around to the local community college, I’m not compensating any carbon splitters meant for a BTTC car that somehow landed on a civic.

If I still was driving a SUV, yes. I’d like not to have missing people

Calaveras Canyon is pretty cool, it goes around the mountains east of 680 between Fremont and Sunol. Lots of cyclists, and I used to see CHPs out there frequently, but it’s a neat road. Also, in the other direction, there’s loads of good stuff off the summit of 17, and Hwy 9 is always good too.

I’ve gone on Caldeveras on a bike, but it’s a short road. I will look into 17 and 9. Mount Hamilton is also a great road

That it is, I’d forgotten all about that. I once followed a drifting 500SEL up that road in my old WRX wagon, it was hilarious. The driver of the 500 is a good friend of mine who now cycles up that road every weekend.

I like the idea... only problem is you’re a little far from me (I’m in the Toronto area in Canada).
